About the venue
Wombourne Tennis founded in 1960 we are a section of the Wombourne Cricket, Tennis & Bowls Club situated on the green in the Centre of the village we have 3 astro courts and one hard all floodlit. The grounds were donated to the club for the playing of sport and boasts an ever growing number of members.
We have two teams for both the Men’s and Ladies in the Summer Staffordshire Inter Tennis League we have 3 Men’s team and 2 Ladies teams. In the Hereford & Worcester Winter League we have 2 Men’s teams 1 Ladies and 1 Mixed team. Throughout the year, the tennis section hosts a large number of tournaments and events which all members are encouraged to join.
